Green Shoots Oldfield Park opened its doors on the 1st September 2025. We are a small friendly family team and enjoy our days in the lovely Ascension Church Community Hall on Claude Avenue. This sister setting offers all year round (47.5 weeks) Early Years Education. Children start with us from 2 years old as a tadpole and then move up to a pre-school froglet when they are 3 and 4 years old. We are inclusive to all and put children and families at the centre of our work.

"Our daughter loves Green Shoots in Oldfield park. This is her first time away from us but the staff there are excellent and are really attentive to her and she settled in very quickly. The facility at Oldfield Park is really convenient for us, has a large open and well lit hall and a beautiful garden with lots of activities for the kids. It's also close to Moorfields Sandpits play area and Brickfields park and has easy access to linear park for some beautiful walks which our daughter loves. The food is good too. They have a great chef on site that makes tasty freshly prepared meals that she really enjoys and she regularly cleans her plate. Highly recommend this pre school."

"We are having a great experience at Green Shoots Oldfield Park. The staff have been brilliant and there are good ratios of staff to children. My son settled in quickly. The outdoor space is amazing, he loves digging, planting in the veg patch and playing in the garden. The home cooked food stand out for us.
Overall I'm confident when I drop him off he's in a caring environment and he's going to have a fun day."
